Dear Dr.-Seaburg:

I'am a rasident of Gratiot County presently living in Alma.

I have read much of the. controversy regarding the proposed nuclear power-l.

plant which Consuaw.ra Power Company has started construction on in the

Midland area.

In addition to this Consumers Power Company also has con-I structed a nuclear power plant on Lake Michigan, 35 miles west of Kalamazoo.

l-They are unable to use this plant at the present time due to the hearing on their right to discharge heated water into Lake Michigan.

f i

As an interested citizen I would like you to know that I am real interested in seeing both of these plants go into operation'as soon as possible due to the present energy crisis that our nation is suffering from.

I would appreciate it if you would do everything in your power to help.

Yours very tru l
