20545 Derr Senator Griffin:
I am a resident of Gratiot County presently living in Alma.
I have red much of the controversy regarding the proposed nuclear power plant which Ccusumers Power Company has started construction on in the Midland area.
In addition to this Consumers Power Company also has constructed a nuclear power plcnt on Lake Michigan, 35 miles west of Kalamazoo. They are unable to use this plant at'the present time due to the hearing on their right to discharge h2stsd water into Lake Michigan.
As an interested citizen I would like'you to know that I am real intsrcsted in seeing both of these plants go into operation as soon as possible dua to the present energy crisis that our nation is suffering from.
I would cppraciate it if you would do everything in your power to help.
