EXAMINATION OF CORE SPRAY SYSTEM SPARGERS I->
Gentlement IE Bulletin 80-13 requires that examinations of the core spray spargers and in-vessel core spray piping be made during each refueling outage. Ihe results-l of these inspections are to be submitted to the NRC within 30 days of comple ting tne examinations.
In accordance with IE Bulletin 80-13, a visual inspection (periodic Test 90.1) of the core opray spargers and in-vessel core spray piping of the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant Unit 2 was completed November 3, 1989.
Carolina Power &
t Light Company (CP&L) has not yet received a final copy of the contractor report evaluating the core spray piping inspections.
Therefore, CP&L will submit the inspection results by Februcry 1,1990.
