APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Public Service Company of New Hampshire Docket No. 50-443 This refers to the inspection conducted by representatives of the Region I (Philadelphia) office at the Seabrook Station,. Unit 1, Seabrook New Hampshire, of. activities authorized by NRC License No. CPPR-135.
During this inspection, conducted ~ April 14-17, 1980, the following item of noncompliance was. identified:
10 CFR 50, Appendix B, Criterion IX, states, in part, that:
" Measures shall be established to assure that special processes, including r
welding...and nondestructive testing are controlled...in accordance
'with applicable codes."
The Seabrook Station PSAR, Section 3, commits to the ASME B8PV Code Section III (1977~ Winter Addenda) for piping.

4134.9 (b) states, in part:
" Process sheets, checklists...shall be prepared...with space provided for reporting results of completion of specific operations at checkpoints of fabrication.... These documents shall include spaces for the signature, initials or stamp of the representative of the Certificate Holder...."
Contrary to-the above, on April 16, 1980, the process sheets for repair of welds F0101 and F0102 on system RH-151-01 did not include a sequence for examination to assure code compliance of the weld surfaces after grinding nor a sequence for verifying acceptable minimum wall thickness.
This item is an infraction applicable to Docket No. 50-443.
