NARRATIVE REPORT UNIT 2 August 1st Continuation of 80-26 August 1st Startup from above shutdown Rx critical at 12:26 and generator on line at 21:32. Unit returne.d to rated conditions at 17:00 on 8-2-80 August 3rd Reduced load in order to adjust 4th and 6th stage feedwater heater level controllers August 8th Reduced load in order to perform weekly turbine test. Unit returned to rated conditions at 5:00 on 8-9-80.

August lith At 1013, 2B recire pump MG set tripped. Reduced load to reduce speed of 2A recire pump to 2B recire pump could be returned to operation.

August 15th Reduced load in order to repair torque limit switch on valve E51-F008, in RCIC system. Unit returned to rated condition at 2:00 on 8-17-80.

August 23rd Reduced load in order to perform weekly turbine test August 23rd Reduced load in order to perform a rod sequence exchange. Unit returned to rated conditions at 5:15 on 8-25-80.

There was no single release of radioactivity or single radiation exposure which accounts for more than 10% of the allowable annual values during August of 1980.
