Dear Mr. Seyfrit:
The purpose of this letter is to advise the Commission of a delay in the Omaha Public Power District's response to Item 1, containment pressure response analysis, of IE Bulletin 80-04 regarding PWR main steam line break analysis (MSLB). The District's letter of May 8, 1980, provided the Comission with a schedule for completion of analyses required by Items 1 and 2 of the bulletin. In accordance with this schedule, the District submitted its response to Item 2 of the bulletin in its letter to the Commission dated May 15, 1980. However, because an analysis for MSLB pressure response had not been performed for the Fort Calhoun Station, a completely new analysis was required to be conducted in order to respond to Item 1. The District has been informed by its reactor vendor that difficulties in performing this analysis will result in a delay in ene District': submittal to P.he Commission. It is ex-pected that the District's response to Iten 1 will be submitted by August 15, 1980.
