The attached report of a routine inspection at the subject facility
construction site on September 7, 1972, is transmitted for information.
No items of noncompliance, nonconformance, or immediate safety problems
were encountered during the inspection.
The purpor of the inspection was to determine the continuing adequacy
of the Scensee's program to protect components, equipment, and structures
following terminatien of construction and facility "mothballing" in
December 1970.
In this regard, the licensee now expects Construction
Permit hearings activities to proceed on a schedule such that construction
may be resumed shortly after the first of the coming year.
