Thank you for your letter, referenced above, which forwarded a final report pursuant to 10 CFR 50.55(e) regarding the subject matter.
This matter was reviewed by our inspector during inspection 50-412/80-06 on June 2-6,1980.
Your response to the questions raised during that inspection and your corrective action will be reviewed during a subsecuent inspection.
Also, we understand that the exemption from repair of the naccessible portions of the weld will be submitted in a PSAR change as a deviation from the requirements of ASME Section VIII.
