RADIC LOGICAL SAFETY REVIEW SCHEDULE We have established a schedule for our radiological safety review of-your application for operating licenses for Hidland Plant Units 1 and 2.
The more important milestones are summarized in Enclosure 1. provides 20 months from docketing to issuance of our supple-ment to the Safety Evaluation Report. Our target milestones assume timely submittal of responses to our request for additional ~ information that was

enclosed in our acceptance review letter of November 11, 1977, and your adherences to dates stated in your FSAR and security plan. We have scheduled issuance of our subsequent (Round-one) requests for adoitional information, and your responses, in three separate parts to enhance our review of those matters as may be identified early in our review.
Snould target milestones change as the review process proceeds, we will ddvise you of significant Changes to our schedule.
Since many of tne milestones of tile staff review require your input and.
participation, we Delieve you should critically review tne dates indicated for tilese milestones and advise us of any inconsistancies with your activities and adjustments needed. Your cocinents should be telephoned to tne Licensing Project Manager within about two weeks following receipt of this letter.
