BEFORE THE UNITED STATES ATOMIC ENERGY COMMISSION AMENDMENT NO. 40 TO APPLICATION BY FLORIDA POWER CORPORATION FOR A SECTION 104b CONSTRUCTION PERMIT AND LICENSE FOR A UTILIZATION FACILITY DOCKET N0. 50-302 Florida Power Corporation, a corporation organized and existing under the laws of' the. State of Florida, Applicant for an operating license and construction permit for Crystal River Unit 3 Nuclear Generating Plant, hereby amends its Application by the filing of Amendment No. 40.
Amendment No. 40 consists of updated pages to the Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR) which reflect those modifications in the plant design that resulted from meetings with members of your staff in Bethesda on April 23, 24, and 25, and at the Crystal River Nuclear Plant site on April 29, 30 and May 1, 1974.
In addition, Amaldment No. 40 contains revisions to the FSAR to incorporate new organizational changes and miscellaneous update pages.
This amendment to the Application contains no restricted data or other defense information.
