In Re: Florida Power Corporation Crystal River Nuclear Generating Plant Docket.No. 50-302 Enclosed are three (3) originals and nineteen (19) conformed copies of Amendment No. 40 to the Application for Licenses for Crystal River Unit 3 Nuclear Generating Plant. Also enclosed are an additional eighty-one (81) copies for a total of 103 copies, as previously furnished for your distribution.
Amendment No. 40 consists of revised pages to the Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR). Specifically, Amendment No. 40 contains revisions to the FSAR which reflect those modifications in the plant design which were identified in our letter of June 4,1974 to Mr. Voss A. Moore, Assistant Director for Light Water Reactors, Group 2. These modifications resulted from meetings with members of your staff in Bethesda on April 23, 24 and 25 and at the Crystal River Unit 3 site on April 29, 30, and May 1,1974.
In addition, Amendment No. 40 contains miscellaneous update pages and revisions to Section 1.7 Quality Program, Section 12.0 Conduct of Operations, Appendix 12A Technical Qualifications, Section 13.0 In.-
itial Test and Operation, and section 15.0 Technical Specifications, to incorporate new organizational changes.
