Enclosed for your infornation are recent clar'ifying anendnents to the revised Appendix D to 10 CFR Part 50 of the Cor.aission's regulations.
These at endr:er ts include clarification as to uhich facilitics will be affected by Section E of Appendix D.
e Under the provisions of Section 'E of Appendix D you are required to furnish to the Commisnion before October 19, 1971, or such other later date as may be approved by the Comission upon good cause shown, a uritten statement of any reasons, with supporting factual submission, why, with reference to the. criteria in paragraph 2 of Section E, your permits should not be suspended, in whole or in part, pending comple-tion of the iEPA envirbnuental review specified in Section B, C or D of Appendix D, as appropriate.
You are requested to submit 50 copics of the written statement and any supporting factual material.
