Directorate of Regulatdry Operations, Region II,

OCONEE TS CHANCE REQUEST ON REACTOR BUILDING - TS 3.6 DATED SEPTE!GER 4,1974 I believe a corrective action period should be included in this Technical Specification and the time periods requested are acceptable.

Arkansas 1 TS allows 48 hours5.555556e-4 days
0.0133 hours
7.936508e-5 weeks
1.8264e-5 months
to repair isolation valves and nothing for door repairs.

It would be better if a Standard could be developed for this situation.

I would suggest adding words to 3.6.4.a. to require the remaining operable door of the affected hatch to be closed durir.g the repair period.
