DISCRIPTION OF FIRE PROTECTION Separated from other zones by masonry walls and clear spaces.
Seal oil unit, and lube oil tank are protected by automatic deluge sprinklers- 0.3 GPM/Sq.Ft. The west half of Turbine Building below main deck, over oil containing equipment is protected by automatic wet pipe sprinklers designed to provide 0.3 GPM/
SQ. Ft. over 3000 Sq. Ft. at same time ~ supplying 0.2 GPM/Sq.Ft.
over 10,000 Sq. Ft. Automatic wet pipe system -Ordinary hazards-100 Sq Ft. head spacing installed over feed pump area. Turbine bearings are to be protected by automatic pre-action sprinklers.
Exciter housing is to be protect'ed by automatic CO. H,and 2
extinguishers, wheeled extinguishers and 1.1/2" fire hose in 1
zone.
