SVarga In the final review of Arkansas Nuc1 car One, Unit 1, for the operating license (Facility License Eo. DPR-51), two matters were left for post licensing resolution.
These were the design of the Stcan Line Break F
Instrumentation an'd Control System (SLBIC) and the interconnection F ~
of a non-safety grade control system to components of the safety related il Emergency Feedwater System (EFWS) components.
In addition to these two items, by your letter of April 29, 1974, you also proposed for our review a modification of the shutdown bypass circuitry in the Reactor Protective System. We have completed our review of these threc matters as discussed in the enclosed Safety Evaluation and have concluded h
that the systeus and modifications as proposed are acceptable.

thut the automatic controls for the EFUS are not yet connected, and
