The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 35 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-51 for Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit No.1.
This amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications and is in response to your submittals of September 17, October 5,1976; June 16, July 18, August 30, September 6 and 21, October 26, Decenoer 12 ano 20,1977; and January 12 and 17, Feoruary 3 and 28, March 31, April 12 and 2t,, June 13,15, 21, 29 and 30, and July 7, 14 and 25, 1976.
This amendment,
, a license condition relating to the completion of facility modi :<:ations for fire protection and modifies the Technical Specifications to require at ieast five individuals with fire protection training be on site at all times. The Technical Specifications relating to the fire brigade are effective 90 days from the date of issuance. By letter dated March 3,1976, we issued Technical Specifications to incorporate limiting conditions for oper-ation and surveillance requirements for existing fire protection systems and acministrative controls. You are requested to propose revised Technical Specifications related to facility modifications described herein and submit them for our review no later than 90 days before the implementation dates listed in Table 3.1 of tne enclosed Safety Evaluation. Certain items listed in Section 3.0 of the enclosed Safety Evaluation are markea with an asterick to indicate that the NRC staff will require adoitional information in the fom of design details, test results, or acceptance criteria to assure that the design is acceptacle prior to actual implementation of tnese modifications. Please submit the additional infomation at least 90 days prior to the implementation dates of the modifications.
