REVERSING STARTER Attached Inquiry Report No. 50-313/73-2Q is for information. The problem is generic to Allis-Chalmers (A-C) Size 1 reversing starters.
A-C is changing out parts with excessive tolerance.
The corrective action indicated should resolve the problert pending replacement of suitable parts. We vill examine the corrective measures implemented and measures enacted to prevent recurrence of 3
the problem during a subsequent construction inspection.
