Attached find a Non-Routine Radiological Environmental Report No. 50-313/78-2 concerning milk samples taken 4/3/78, which contained I-131 levels exceeding Environmental Technical Specification 5.6.2.b(1) report levels.
These ab-normal activities are not related to the operation of Arkansas Nuclear One-Unit 1 but are attrit ured to radioactive fallout from the Chinese Nuclear Weapons test of 3/4/76.
Although these levels are reportable by Environmental Technical Specificatio-'
5.6.2.b(1), no action for reduction of these levels is required by Arkansas Power and Light as the I-131 is from a source extraneous to this company.
