CPPR-51, DOCKET No. 50-302 Transmitted herewith for information is Compliance Report No. 302/69-1 covering a routine inspection on January 23-24, 1969. There was one item of nonconformance observed relating to a change in the foundation design. This was a substitution of 1500 psi concrete for crushed lime rock. The licensee stated this would be justified in the FSAR. We believe concrete is more desirable for this application. We anticipate some problems in the area of site quality control due to i inexperience of existing personnel in nuclear-tyre work.
