DOCKET NO. 050-346 The attached report of an announced inspection at the subject facility construction site on June 8-10, 1971, is transmitted for information. No significant safety problems were encountered but two apparent items of nonconformance were discussed with the applicant at the conclusion of the inspection.
Although a conclusive evaluation could not be made at the time of the inspection, it appears that the shield building wall may be slightly more out of plumb than permitted by the specifications. We intend to review additional data to be made available during out next routine inspection which should lead to resolution of this matter.
