This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. 011er of this office on January 4 - 6, 1972, at the Babcock and Wilcos Company Plant, located in Eerbertse, mio, of activities related to construction of the Davie-Besse facility autherised by AEC Construction Feceit No. CPPE-80 and to the discussion of our findings at the conclusion of the inspectica with Messrs. Quinn. Buskey, Lang, and other members of the Maw and W11com staff.
1he area====en=d daring the inspection was the manufacture of steam generatcrs for the Davis-Besse facility with particular emphasis on i
the quality of plate material. Within this ares, the inspection consisted of selective **==iaattom of procedures and representative records, interviews with plant persosmal, and observations by the inspector.
No items of noncompliance with AIC requirements or nonconformance with code requirements were identified within the area====4n==t during this inspection.
