I have been contacted by a Freeholder in Ocean County, f-l New Jersey, who has expressed concern over the adequacy of re-pairs being made to the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station.
g EEE A copy of my constituent's mailgram is enclosed for your ig use and information. As you can see, the County is seeking assurances from the NRC as to the adequacy of the repairs.
rm Given the importance of this issue to County residents,
!l and their public officials, I certainly hope that the NRC will be
'able to provide the type of detailed explanation and concrete E@
assurances which the County is seeking as to the adequacy of the
!E:I repairs.
This will help to identify any outstanding issues, as
,M well as lay to rest those matters which need not be of overriding EEE concern.
