20555 Lessons Learned Short Term Requirement 2.1.6.a North Anna Power Station Unit No. 2
Dear Mr. Denton:
This letter is intended to provide additional information concerning NUREG 0578 item 2.1.6.a, Integrity of Systems outside Containment Likely to Contain Radioactive Materials for North Anna Unit 2.
The attachment contains the results of leakage tests performed recently for Recirculation Spray, Safety Injection, the Boron Injection Tank and Boron Recovery "B" Cas Stripper.
Note that in the cases of a report of leakage from any of these systems, a maintenance order was issued and the leakage has been eliminated.
This completes the leakage evaluation effort required by NUREC-0660 item III.D. l.1 and satisfies this requirement for issuance of a Full Power Safety Evaluation Report for North Anna Unit 2.
We will continue to monitor leakage from these systems through our Leak Reduction Program described in our letter Serial No. 015, dated January 10, 1980, entitled Lessons Iaarned Short Term Requirements.
