O APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Alabama Power Company License No. CPPR-86 Farley Unit No. 2 Based on the NRC inspection February 4-29, 1980, certain of your activities were apparently not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements as indicated below. These items have been categorized as described in correspondence to you dated December 31, 1974.
As required by 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, Criterion V and as implemented by Section 17.1.5 of the FSAR and the Alabama Power Company QA Manual, written approved procedures which prescribe all activities affecting quality shall be established and adhered to.
Contrary to the above, the cleaning of exterior surfaces of stainless steel piping at various periods in January 1980 was accomplished without the use of approved procedures.
This is an infraction.
