The meetings are subject to the approval of the Advisory Committee Management Officer.

Those meetings for which it is anticipated that there will be a portion or all of the meeting open to the public are indicated by an asterisk (*).

If you are listed and cannot attend a meeting, or if you are not listed but would like to att'nd, please advise the ACRS Office.

Most motels and hotels require a guaranteed reservation if arrival is to be after 6:00 p.m.

Cancellation of guaranteed reservations must be made before noon of the scheduled day of arrival.

Failure to use a room under these conditions involves forfeiture of the cost. Please advise the ACRS office as soon as possible if you cannot attend a meeting fur which you are listed so that reservations can be cancelled in sufficient time.

The Subcom-mittee will review pcrtinent portions of the NRC research program for the ACRS annual reports to NRC and Congress, and will be briefed by RES on recently completed NRC studies relating to reactor plant design to reduce vulnerability to sabotage. Code development related to spent fuel storage pool consequence estimates from sabotage attack will also be considered..In addition, a closed session is planned regarding recent events relating to plant security.
  • Advanced Reactors, July 1,1980 (centative), Washincton, DC. The Subcommittee will continue its review of the NRC funding and program direction or program termination as appropriate.
