O Omaha Public Power District Fort Calhoun No. 50-285 NOTICE OF VIOLATION Based on the results of an NRC inspection conducted February 11-13, February 25-28 and March 10-14, 1980 it appears that certain of your activities were not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements as indicated belov:
Section 5.8.1 of your Technical Specification requires that written procedures be established and implemented.
A.
Repair of MS-MV-281, Type 3700 Dresser valves is required to be done in accordance with Maintenance Procedure No. MP-MS-1.
Contrary to the above, a main steam safety valve (MS-MV-281) was repaired in accordance with Maintenance Procedure No.
This is an infraction.
B.
Section 2.12.3.1 of the Plant Radiation Protection Manual requires that a respirator mask fit retest and certification occur once every two years.
Contrary to the above, it was determined that one individual was certified to wer.r a respirator on January 28, 1980, and had not been " fit tested" since October 11, 1977.
This is an infraction.
