APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Alabama Power Company License No. NPF-2 Farley Nuclear Plant-Based on the NRC inspection December 31, 1979 - February 1,1980, certain of your activities were apparently not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements as indicated below. These items have been categorized as described in correspond-ence to you dated December 31, 1974.

As required by Technical Specification 6.8.b.c, written procedures stfall be established ad implemented for surveillance and test activities of safety related equipment.
Contrary to the above, on January 27, 1980, Work Request No. 21908 on I-A boric acid transfer pump was not completed in accordance with the instruc-tions delineated in Farley Nuclear Plant Administrative Procedure No. 52 in that the boric acid transfer pump was erroneously indicated to be operable during the performance of maintenance and the restoration and retest require-ments were not listed or Appended to the work request as required, even though the retest requirements had been completed.
This is a deficiency.
