Freedom of Information Act Request
Dear Mr. Felton:
Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, Duke Power Company requests copies of all documents prepared by the NRC Staff and/or its consultants relative to the review and denials of the primary transportation route submitted by Duke Power Company in its application to transship spent fuel from the Oconee Nuclear System to the McGuire Nuclear Station.
(Docket No. 70-2623)
We would also request similar information with respect to the NRC's approval of three transportation routes submitted by Duke at that same time.
Further, we would request all documents relative to the Staff's development of the NRC Staff's Interim Guidance concerning Physical Protection of Ship-ments of Irradiated Reactor Fuel set forth in NUREG-0561.
Last-ly, we would request all documents relating to the NRC Staff's proposed amendments to 10 CFR Part 73 which propo.,a1 is set forth in the March 28, 1980 Memorandum for the Comuissioners from W.J. Dircks (SECY-8 0-16 6).
We request that this information be provided with all possible speed and in no event later than the 10 working days provided by 10 CFR 9.8.
