This letter refers to your letter, dated March 31, 1980, requesting NRC t
permission for shipment of two additional spent resin liners. This is to inform you of NRC approval to ship these two specific liners.
Currently the NRC is assessing the ban on radwaste shipments which was imposed by my letter to you dated February 22, 1980.
The NRC assessment will be completed upon inspection of TMI Units 1 and 2 radwaste shipment program and verification of compliance status with NRC/ DOT radwaste ship-ment requirements including IE Bulletin 79-19.
This inspection is planned to be conducted during the period of April 14-18, 1980.
