Gentlemen:
Thank you for your letter of November 24, 1977, informing us of steps
you have taken to correct the items of noncompliance concerning activities
under NRC License Nos. DPR-38, DPR-47 and DPR-55 brought to your attention
in our letter of November 1, 1977. We will examine your corrective actions
and plans during subsequent inspections.
In addition to the information provided in your November 24, 1977 letter,
further information was provided NRC inspectors by Messrs. J. McIntosh
and J. Sefick at Oconee Nttelear Station on November 29, 1977.
Our
understanding of the additional corrective action to the items of non-
compliance is indicated as follows:
Item I
Verbal corrective action for guard force personnel was taken
on or about August 19, 1977 and a new procedure was initiated
l
on October 24, 1977.
Item 2
.
Closer supervision is being taken on a daily basis and a new
procedure was implemented on October 24, 1977.
Item 3
More intensive supervision is being provided on a daily basis
to avoid further noncompliance.
