NOTICE OF VIOLATION Sacramento Municipal Utility District Sacramento, California Docket No. 050-312 Based on the results of an NRC inspection conducted on March 24-27, 1975 it appears that certain of your activities were not conducted in full compliance with conditions of your NRC Facility License No. DPR-54 as indicated below:
A.
Contrrey to Technical Specification 5.4.3 of Appendix B, the Chairn~n of the Plant Review Committee did not prepare detailed evaluation reports for three unusual occurrences -- (1) excessive chlorine in the liquid effluent on September 11,1974,(2) excessive dissolved solids in the effluent on November 5,1974, and
(?) excessive chlorine in the effluent on November 8,1974 --
within one week of the occurrences.
This item is a deficiency.
B.
Contrary to Technical Specification 5.6.2.C of Appendix B, the written reports to the Regional Office of Inspection and Enforcement (Regulatory Operations Office) for the unusual occurrences of November 5 and 8,1974 were not submitted within 10 days.
This item is a deficiency.
Other infractions and deficiencies, identified through your management ccntrol system, which were reported in a timely manner and corrected are as described in the attached inspection report.
No additional information is needed for these items at this time.
