Dear Mr. Engelken:
In your letter dated April 16, 1975 you noted two (2) areas in which Rancho Seco Unit No. 1 appears to be in violation of NRC regulations.
This letter outlines the corrective steps taken to avoid further violations in the noted areas.
The corrective steps taken to ensure that the Chairman of the O
Plant Review Committee. prepares detailed evaluation reports for unusual occurrences are as follows:
1.
The Plant Superintendent will be informed within 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br /> of an unusual occurrence (or no later than the first work-ing day following the event). He will inform the Quality Assurance Director.
2.
The Quality Assurance Director will audit for preparation of the detailed evaluation report within one week (prior to due date) and notify the Plant Superintendent and Assis-tant General Manager and Chief Engineer of any noncompliance.
The corrective steps to ensure that the written report has been submitted within 10 days to the Regional Office of Inspection and Enforce-ment are as follows:

The Quality Assurance Director will audit for transmittal of the written report within 10 days (prior to due date) to the Regional Office of Inspection and Enforcement and notify the Plant Superintendent and Assistant General Manager and Chief Engineer of any noncompliance.
