' REQUEST OF AEC REGULATORY STAFF FOR ADDITIONAL TIME TO ANSWER STATEMENT OF POSITION AND CONDITIONAL REQUEST FOR HEARING BY THE CITY OF GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA Pursuant to 10 CFR 82.711, the staff requests two weeks additional time to answer the " Statement of Position and Conditional Request for Hearing and Petition to Intervene" by the City of Gainesville, Florida.
In support of its request, the staff submits the following:
1.
During the period of time requested by the staff to file an answer to Gainesville's petition, the staff has obtained a clarification of the agreerrent between the Department of Justice and the applicant which is acceptable to the applicant and the petitioner.
2.
The Department of Justice concurs in the clarification.
3.
Additionally, an agreement has been reached in principle with the petitioner that the conditional request for a hearing and the petition to intervene will be withdrawn; however it is believed that two odditional weeks are required to complete the necessary arrangements for withdrawal of the peti tion.
