Dear.Mr. Schwencer:
l On September 17, 1975, we responded to your June 19, 1975, letter requesting the dascription of our test program for ECCS (Reg. Guide 1.79).
'Your October 9, 1975, reply pointed out areas of continued concern'and this has resulted in several meetings discussing our ability to physically conduct the program due to the degree of con.pleteness of the plant.
On_ December 10, 1975 we again met with NRC staff and dis-cussed our response p,ackage covering'a higher flow test including answers to nine (9) specific questions we had received during earlier sessions.
We have received verbal confirmation of acceptance from Mr. Leon Engle of the program presented at the 12/10/75 session, and are' confirming for record documentation our amended proposal.
These attachments represent all docu-ments'used in our discussions and responses; thus, in its-self,-making a. complete record when used with the Sep.tember 17, 1975, filing.
Our-Testing: Group are proceeding with procedures and necessary physical preparations.to schedule this demonstration, based on this verbal approval.
We will keep you infctmed of our pro-gress and the expected date.
