In response to your letter of transmittal, dated March 17, 1977, of ~
NRC-0IE. Inspection Report 77-06 Toledo Edison herein offers the follow-ing:

To provide a schedule we will follow in implementing a Manage-ment Control System to assure the appropriate, periodic re-n' I
calibration of instruments used to determine compliance with Technical Specification requirements (including those covered by Section XI of the ASME Code). This refers to those instruments whose calibration requirements were not specifically deliner.ted in the Technical Specifications.
Response: A preventative maintenance program will be developed and im-pienented within nine months of the issuance of the Operating License to insure the appropriate periodic recalibration of instruments used to determine compliance with Technical Spec-ifications but whose calibration requirements were not spec-ifically delineated in the Technical Specifications.
