Duke Power Company (DPC) proposed an amendment to the Oconae Technical Specifications for operation of Oconee Unit 1 following the Cycle 3 refueling. Also enclosed is Babcock 4 Wilcox Report BAW-1427, "Oconee Unit 1 Cycle 3 Reload Report," containing the analyses to support the proposed Technical Specifications changes.

It is additionally requested that an early identification be made of those questions relating to the rod bowing phenomenon that DPC will be required to answer so that this area can be given the necessary review within the response time requested for this TAR.
