.0conce Muclear Power Units 1, 2 ard 3 We have revieued the Duke Power Company (CPC) Emergency Plan (the Plan) for Oconce !!uclear Power Units 1, 2 and 3 against the requirements of Appandix E to 10 CFR Part 50 and find the Plan to meet these requirci..ents and to be acceptabic.
Chapter 12 of the licensee's Safety Analysis Report, through Revicion 23 dated g/15/72, Oconee Mucicar Station Et:argc[cy Procedure EP/0/A/1800/18 dated 2/18/75, attached to the licensce's letter response to our rencsts for '
information, !!. O. Parter, Jr., (DPC) to R. S. Boyd (::RC) dated August 23, 1975, anhthelicensecscorrespondencedated 11/14/75 11. O. Parker, Jr., (DPC).to B.,C. Rusche ( :RC), providing additional information, were reviewed and censidered in our evaluation.
He consider these documents, taken togeth.:r, to constitute the Plan.
T'he organization for coping with emergencies consists of onsite and offsite. plant and DPC personnel and offsite State and Federal Agencies and local support services.
The Shift Supervisor will direct all in=ediate emergency measures _until and unless relieved by the Plant Superintendent.

An extensive offsite envircranental monitoring program is < x. ducted to, detect radionuclides in the environment, data frca i;hich. ould be inr.ediately available during an emergency.
Should an e::ergency aris5 that would require. the implernentation of the particular protective measure of evacuation of offsite persons, the Oconee or-Pickens County Civil Defense Organization, as appropriate, would direct the local activities upon notification g
