If, during the course of our review of licensing satters related to your plants you believe there is a need to appeal a staff position, this need should be brought to the staff's atteettom as early as possible so that an'aepropriate appeals process can be identified on a timely basis. A written regilest is not necessary and all such requests should be initiated through the assigned staff project renager. This precedure is an ir'orest one, designed to allow opper-tunity to discuss areas of disagreement in the case review at higher levels of management le both the staff and year. organization.
