Thank you for your letter dated May 29, 1980, informing us of the steps you are taking to address the concerns identified in our letter dated May 6, 1980.
With respect to the comments relative to refresher training contained in your letter, additional information was obtained during a telephone conversation initiated by Mr. T. Essig and Miss R. Greer on June 9,1980 with Mr. C. McKibben of your staff. Specifically, we learned that in addition to the information contained in your letter, certain emergency planning training is included in the accurity training conducted annually for reactor users. This information did not come to our attention during Miss Greer's recent emergency planning inspection.
We consider that your May 29 response, as amended by the referenced June 9 telecon, adequately addresses, at this time, the areas identified in our May 6 letter. However, we will examine your ref resher training program in depth in a future inspection, with emphasis on training provided pur-suant to the Emergency Plan your staff will be writing to conform to Regulatory Guide 2.6.
