Use of ASME Code Cases N-237, N-218, and N-228 for the Seabrook Station, Docket Nos. 50-443 and 50-444 In your letter of October 15, 1979 you requested authorization to use ASME Code Cases N-237, N-218, and N-228 in the constmetion of components for the Seabrook Station.
This is to advise you that Code Case N-237, dated July 9,1979, " Hydrostatic Testing of Internal Piping Section III, Division 1," Code Case N-218, dated July 27,1978, " Testing lots of Carbon Steel Solid, Base Welding Electrode on Wire,Section III, Division 2 " and Code Case N-228, dated March 19, 1979,
" Alternate Rules fbr Sequence of Completion of Code Data Report Forms and Stamp-ing for Section III, Class 1, 2, 3, and MC Construction," are acceptable and nay be used in the construction of components for the Seabrook Station.
Use of these codes cases should be documented in the Final Safety Ana}ysis Report.
