In my letter to you dated May 14, 1980, I requested permission for an NRC contractor to be allowed to visit the Point Beach site to perform inter-views and other activities associated with an NRC contract. Your letter dated May 2', 1980, requested that the visit be postponed or that another site be chosen due to the high level of activities at Point Beach during this period.

We are withdrawing our request to have the contractor visit your plant.

The contractc,r will obtain the information from another plant.

This matter was discussed with Mr. C. W. Fay of your staff during a telephone conversation on June 2, 1980. We thank you for your considera-tion in this matter.
