The conditional request for a hearing filed by the City of Gainesville and the answers filed by Florida Power Corporation and the AEC staff are currently. pending before the Comission. Until such time as the Commission rules upon the pending matters, it would be inappropriate for the Regulatory Staff to take any administrative action with respect to the conditional request filed by the City of Gainesville.
As soon as the Commission renders its decision in this matter the Regulatory Staff will take appropriate action to follow through with the -Commission ~ determination.
-Your interest -in writing to the Comission~ is appreciated and we understand _ your position. - As indicated above, further action by the staff is not anticipated at this ~ time with regard to the pending matter.
