Directorate of Regulatory Operations, HQ SACRAMENTO MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT (RANCHO SECO) DOCKET No. 50-312 Attached is the report of our recent inspection of the subject facility on November 26-28 and December 6, 1973. No violations of Regulatory requirements were identified. We intend to follow up on the calibration drift deficiency identified with the CRD rod position indicator system. We understand a similar condition was encountered at OCONEE and that the fi:t simply involved the replacement of a resistor in the amplifier circuitry to assure a precision - \\ power source. Mr. V. Thomas of RO:HQ has been provided a copy of the circuitry in question and will be given more details following our next inspection. The additional testing of the emergency core cooling systems requested by our inspector was favorably received by the licensee. In view of this, we expect that the test procedures will be modified to accomodate our requests. a.= 1 t
