8.0 Our evaluation of the instrumentation, control, and power systems for Oconec Unit 1 is contained on Pages 49-54 of the original Safety That evaluation is ale.o applicable to Units 2 and Evaluation Report.

In addition to the four 230 kV transmission lines connected to a.
the 230 kV station switchyard, two lines will be added prior to operation of Unit 2 and tuo additional lines will be added prior to operation of Unit 3.
The 500 kV switchyard will be connected to the 230 kV switchyard through an autotransformer prior to operation of Unit 3.

That portion of the 125 V d-c Instrument and Control Power System for Unit 3 which is shared with Unit 2 will be availabic prior to operation of Unit 2.
An aspect of the design that required,our re-evaluation was the applicant's cabic installation criteria. The extensive use of interlocked armor cables resulted in excessive cable tray fill in several locations in Unit 1.
To compensate for the reduced separation between vertically adjacent trays, the applicant will install fire barriers between the trays in these o
locations.

The applicant has stated that cabic trays in Units 2 and 3 will not be filled above the tray side rails and has installed additional cabic trays to assure conpliance with this coinnitment. Uc have concluded that the provisions for separation of cabics within all three units are acceptable I
