This refers to the operating license fee ($368,960) paid by Duka i
Power, for Licensa DPR-38.
The fee was based on a proposed full-power operation of 2368 Mwt.
When License DPR-38 was issued on February 6,1973, the operation of the facility a s 11=1ted to 128 Mwt (5% power). Subsequent authorizations were granted on April 30, and June 6, 1973, to allow operation of Oconee Unit 1 at 75% (1926 ht) and 95% (2452 Mwt) power levels. To date the additional 5% (116 Mwt) has not been 4
authorized. Accordingly, the C a ssion will refund the excess operating license fee of $11,020 to Duke Power, based on the out-standing 116 Mwt G $95/Mwt. Duka Power will be robilled for the additional operating licensa fee, at such tice as the additional power increase is granted under License DPR-38.
You will receive the above refund from our Office of the Controller.
