MINIMUM SHIFT STAFFING FOR THE OCONEE NUCLEAR (DOCKET NOS. 50-270 & 287)

At a recent meeting with Duke Power Company personnel, the subject of minimum shif t staffing for three-unit operation was discussed.

In preparation for the issuance of Technical Specifications for Units 2 and 3, I propose that minimum shif t staffing requirements for the three-unit operation at Oconee be in substantial conformance with the attached d aft material. The incorporation of this material would make subsections 6.1.1.4 and 6.'1.1.7 superfluous.
