SUMMARY

MONTH: August, 1978 Oconee 2 began the month at reduced power. The unit was shutdown on July 1, 1978 to repair the stator of control rod 6 of safety group 4. On July 6, 1978 Stator repairs were completed and the unit was started up. The unic remained at or near 100% power for the rest of the month.
