Dear Dr. Morris:
i am returning herewith one signed copy of the final report by Dr. N. M. Newmark and me on the above noted facility.
Corrections noted on the signed copy are as follows:
- p. 4, line 5 of 2nd par.:
"O.Olg" should be "0.10g"
- p. 6, lines 5, 6 and 7 from bottom should read:
"given in_the Rankine lecture to the Institution of Civil Engineers, in which the analyses given in Supplement 1 used static slip circles for the dynamic analysis.
In ceneral the slip circles for the dynamic analysis will be different from those for a static analysis, but in this case it appears..."
We have reviewed Supplement 5 to the PSAR, which was received yesterday, and the statements made in our report prepared prior to receiving Supplement 5 stand unchanged.
