Description of Particular Event or Circumstance The fuel for the low burnup region for core 1, Unit 1, as originally designed,'was.not pressurized. Problems have been experienced'at other. facilities with the cladding of fuel rods of other designs collapsing after significant irradiation.

Smith ' stated that the fuel for the low burnup region of core 1, Unit'1, was'being returned to the manufacturer to be pressurized.

The remainder of the fuel.for Oconee 1 and all fuel for Units 2 i

The remainder of the fuel for Oconee 1 and all fuel for Units 2 and 3 have pressurized rods.
