ORDER EXTENDING PROVISIONAL CONSTRUCTION PERMIT COMPLETION DATE By application dated June 2, 1972, Duke Power Company requested an I
extension of the latest completion date specified in Provisional Construction Permit No. CPPR-33. The permit authorizes the construction of a pressurized water nuclear reactor, designated as the 'Ocoties Nuclear Station, Unit 1, on the applicant's site in Oconee County, South Carolina, approxin:stely eight-miles northeast of Seneca, South Carolina.
Good cause having been shown for this extension pursuant to Section 185 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, and Section 50.55(b) of 10 CFR Part 50 of the Commission's regulations. IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT the latest completion date specified in Provisional Construction Permit No. CPPR-33 is extended from June 30, 1972 to February 28, 1973.
